IDOT NEWSFLASH: Special Chemistry Requirements Removed From Items 7 and 57 on November Letting

Due to unforeseen complications with the structural steel material specifications which could possibly delay the delivery of material or add extra costs for contingencies, we have elected to withdraw the special chemistry requirements for these projects.

over Burlington Northern and Sante Fe Railroad.

70552-057            Mclean                 Replacement of structure (SN 057-0093) carrying U.S. Route 136 over Kickapoo Creek

The standard specifications for structural steel shall be utilized.

The special provision called “Structural Steel for Bridges” will be revised by addendum.
